Steril-Aire DEX UV-C Light – Dual-End HVAC Disinfection
The Double Ended (DE) Very High Output (VO) UV-C Fixture is engineered for both new and retrofit air handling systems, delivering up to 20% more ultraviolet energy at standard HVAC operating temperatures. This enhanced output effectively inactivates and degrades even the most resilient microorganisms and organic matter, ensuring cleaner air and improved system performance. Ideal
Ideal for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional facilities, the DE [X] fixture supports both airstream disinfection and the maintenance of HVAC efficiency.
Constructed from durable stainless steel, the DE [X] series features a waterproof ballast, optional high-spectral aluminum reflector, and built-in weep holes—all designed to withstand the toughest HVAC environments.
Fixtures can be installed individually, in banks, or in parallel configurations, and are suitable for placement downstream of cooling coils, above drain pans, or within ductwork, mixed air plenums, and exhaust systems.
When installed near cooling coils, the DE [X] not only helps disinfect the coil surface but also enhances heat transfer efficiency, reduces coil pressure drop, and lowers energy consumption and maintenance costs over time.
